We were invited to the Peace Arch Hospital’s Major Donor Event last Wednesday and take photos for this great event. Karen Hammond and her colleagues made it a fun and memorable event for every participant. We thought we’d share a preview with you here. More to come soon.
Last week, we were sorry to hear that a mom of a kid from my daughter’s daycare passed away, ending her battle with cancer. We didn’t personally know her, but we feel for her families and the two young boys she left. She had a blog where she shared her stories for the last two years. Reading through the posts, I know she fought for her life with a lot of courage. RIP…
We were honoured to do event photography for the Relay For Life last year. People from communities come together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones and help fight back with the disease. It is indeed a unique and unforgettable experience for us. Relay for Life Surrey 2012 will take place on June 9. We would strongly encourage everyone to join because in these days everybody is somehow affected by cancer. Families, friends, friends’ friends… If we can act together, we can help!
Although we are shifting our focus to wedding photography, event photography still has a big place in our heart. So we are so excited to get invited to do event photography for the 2011 Langley’s International Festival International Car Show and International Bike Show. I can’t recall every classic car that was displayed, but to name a few: Porsche, MG Car, Harley-Davidson, volkswagen, Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge and those amazing Azzkikr Custom Cycles… Leon obviously had more fun than I did… Men love cars, more than their wives (?!?!?!!)
We absolutely love to photograph kids. They are adorable, they are natural, and they are unique. With their presence, everything boring and dull becomes fresh and exciting. They always inspire us to look at the world from a different angle. So when the camera clicks, there is always a great photo with full of Orange Memories.
